Bottom line
The Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card is a solid choice for anyone with an active Amazon Prime membership. If you don’t already have one but want to sign up, the $200 Amazon gift card would essentially cover the $139 annual fee and then some.
There are also several ways to score a free or discounted Amazon Prime membership, including 30-day trials, Student Prime memberships, using Amazon Household to “borrow” a family member’s account or special discounts available to those with EBT cards.
Lastly, but arguably most importantly, make sure your Amazon Prime Day shopping doesn’t max out your monthly budget. As long as you have a goal in mind and stay within your budget, your Amazon Prime Day shopping should not break the bank.
