But every year, I usually find an alluring ad and get involved.
And I use a credit card.
So, which are the cards that offer the best rewards or lowest rates?
I looked at 3 websites, nerdwallet.com, wallethub.com and lowcards.com.
They didn’t compare exactly the same cards.
But I did find what they considered the best in 3 categories.
First, best cash back reward: the Citi Double Cash card is recommended on all 3 sites.
There’s no annual fee, you earn 1% when you buy and another 1% when you pay.
It’s followed by Chase Freedom, Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards and American Express Blue Cash Preferred.

For lowest interest rates: Citi Diamond Preferred, no annual fee and zero percent on purchases and balance transfers for 21 months.
Also mentioned, the Capital One Venture One Rewards and the Discover It card.
And for best reward credit cards: Most were for airlines. The Capital One Venture is listed on all 3 sites.
It has no annual fee for the first year, $95 after, a 50,000 mile bonus and 2 points for every dollar spent.
Also recommended, the Barclay Arrival Plus World Elite Mastercard and Chase Sapphire.
