On Friday, Dillon Stores celebrated the grand opening of the new Fuel Center at 429 E 4th Avenue in Hutchinson. The fuel center is located at the southwest corner of 4th Avenue and Plum Street, near Planet Fitness.
The new fuel center offers service for fourteen vehicles, both gasoline and diesel fuels, with 24-hour service. It also includes a service kiosk, complete with “on-the-go” items such as cold beverages, candy bars, and snacks.
The new Dillons fuel center represents a $1.5 million investment in Hutchinson.
Also at the ribbon-cutting, United Way of Reno County received a check for $85,945 to mark the annual pledge drive for Hutchinson Dillons associates and corporate gift.
Dillons is recognized as the No. 1 contributor for the United Way of Reno County 20-21 campaign, making it the third year in a row. In the past 10 years, Dillons associates have shared more than $1 million in contributions to support Hutchinson and Reno County through United Way giving.
Over the past 5 years, Dillons has invested more than $200 million in capital projects to improve its store locations throughout Kansas.
“Our Dillons customers have asked for an additional fuel center in Hutchinson and we are happy to respond,” said Sheila Regehr, Dillons’ spokesperson. “Now, customers can shop for groceries with us and then save instantly at the new fuel center just a few blocks away from their neighborhood store. It’s all about convenience and saving our customers both time and money.”
To mark the grand opening, customers can enjoy an additional 20-cents off per gallon of gas with their Plus Card through Sunday, May 2.
Customers will also enjoy savings of 3-cents off per gallon every day when they scan their Plus Card at the pump, or save 10 cents off per gallon, up to $1 off per gallon, when they participate in Dillons’ fuel rewards program.
Customers can then receive discounts automatically, when scanning their Plus Card at the pump.
