Use your Qantas Points to fly to Tahiti
Qantas Frequent Flyers have a new way to use their points to get to paradise. For the first time, you can now spend your Qantas Points on Classic Reward Flights to Papeete, Tahiti. You’ll fly with Air Tahiti Nui, which is a codeshare partner with Qantas.
You can use your points to book Air Tahiti Nui flights on the following routes:
- Auckland to Papeete
- Papeete to Los Angeles
- Auckland to Los Angeles
You can compare how many Qantas Points you’d need to fly to Tahiti below:
|AKL – PPT||22,500 points||50,000 points|
|LAX – PPT||28,000 points||60,000 points|
|AKL – LAX||40,000 points||84,000 points|
QF/QF & QF/TN flights
|SYD – PPT||28,000 points||60,000 points|
|MEL – PPT||28,000 points||60,000 points|
|BNE – PPT||28,000 points||60,000 points|
The above points prices exclude taxes, fees and carrier charges, but you’re usually better off paying those with cash rather than points anyway.
Save up to 50% at the Qantas Store
Qantas is kissing the financial year goodbye by hosting a massive points sale on its Qantas Store. From fashion and homewares to tech and travel goodies, you can save up to 50% across 3,000 products from big brands like Bose, Dyson and Apple.
Just to give you an idea of some of the deals, you can upgrade your tech with 10% off all Apple products, 40% off audio (including Bose, Sony and Panasonic products) and 30% off Samsung. You can also save on travel accessories with 50% off luggage and Lonely Planet products or get the motivation to stay in shape with up to 50% off fitness (including brands like Fitbit and Lorna Jane).
Although using your Qantas Points to shop at the Qantas Store isn’t usually the best way to spend them, this sale gives you the perfect opportunity to get a little more value from any spare Qantas Points that you don’t want to use for travel.
