United Airlines is offering a fare sale until Aug. 30 on certain U.S.-based flights, with prices starting at $52 one way for Basic Economy class. The discounted rate for a Basic Economy ticket doesn’t include seat assignments or carry-on luggage. MileagePlus Premier members, however, can take a full-sized carry-on bag.
The fares are valid for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday flights between Aug. 28, 2018 and Feb. 13, 2019. The discounted one-way rate is based on round-trip purchase. Some one-way deals include:
- Chicago to Cincinnati: $52+
- Cleveland to Milwaukee, Wisconsin: $52+
- Denver to Albuquerque, New Mexico: $69+
- Washington, D.C. (Dulles), to Atlanta: $74+
- Chicago to Buffalo, New York: $79+
- Denver to Austin: $83+
- Houston to Charleston, South Carolina: $97+
- San Diego to Kansas City, Missouri: $99+
United’s Basic Economy tier is a lower-cost option that has fewer benefits than the traditional Economy class ticket, but it’s great to get to your destination at a low cost. You can also try out the United℠ Explorer Card to earn miles and get other perks such, as a free checked bag.
