NFL Sunday Best Bet
There is a huge matchup in the NFC North that will decide playoff hopes this Sunday. The Green Bay Packers head to Soldier Field to take on the Chicago Bears as both teams compete for playoff positioning. If the Packers win, then they clinch the number one seed in the conference. If the Bears win, then they clinch a spot into the postseason.
Aaron Rodgers is most likely going to win the MVP this season and has played very well historically against the Bears. Earlier this season, Green Bay beat Chicago 41-25. The Bears are looking to change things this time around.
Chicago has seen a resurgence in the offense with Mitch Trubsiky back at quarterback. Since Trubsiky replaced Foles at quarterback and Bill Lazor took over play-calling from Matt Nagy, the Chicago offense played much better.
They will need to figure out how to exploit a mediocre Packers defense this Sunday to stay on par with Rodgers. However, the Packers’ defense is much better than what the Lions, Texans, and Jaguars defenses have done this season. This is a step up in class, but nothing Trubisky cannot handle this Sunday.
This biggest issue for the Bears could be on the other side of the ball. The Chicago defense has not been playing as well as it has in recent years. Teams have moved the ball in chunks on them, and Rodgers already put up 41 points on them earlier this season.
The Chicago defense will need to play its best game of the season if they want to make it to the postseason. I think it can happen.
