Representatives from the organizations were present to accept the ceremonial check presented by Mayor Gloria McCauley, Committeeman Greg Burchette, and the members of the Credit Card Advisory Committee.
The total amount awarded was $4,726.92. Since the inception of the program, nearly $80,000 in grants to community based youth, senior and local non-profit organizations have been awarded.
The Spring 2018 Grant recipients are:

“The Hillsborough Rewards Visa Credit Card program is a great resource for our local organizations, that qualify, to obtain funding without any expense to our Hillsborough Taxpayers,” McCauley said.
“By obtaining and utilizing a rewards Visa credit card, funds will continue to be raised for future grant offerings,” she added.
The credit card program is at no cost to the taxpayers of Hillsborough. The program allows individuals or businesses to sign up for the special Hillsborough Township Rewards Visa Credit Card that gives back a portion of every charge, in the form of grants, to nonprofit local youth and senior citizen groups as recommended by the Credit Card Advisory Committee and approved by the Township Committee.
